Ballet Manila, in line with their 20th Performance Season, takes on their rendition of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet on October 2-4 at Aliw Theater in Pasay City.
Artistic Director and CEO of Nashville Ballet USA Paul Vasterling choreographs Ballet Manila’s spin on the classical romance, with the use of movements and sounds to present one of the greatest love stories ever told.

The show is promised to feature theatrical nuances along with action-packed fight scenes, and highly physical choreography appreciated by those with eyes and ears for art.
Ballet Manila’s Romeo and Juliet is accompanied by The Manila Symphony Orchestra under Maestro Alexander Vikulov of the Mariinsky Theater in Russia.
The ballet company’s 20th season entitled “From Page to Page,” will also be featuring Osias Barroso’s Pinocchio from November – December, Alan Himeline’s Hansel and Gretel in January, Martin Lawrance’s Rebel in February, and a Choreography Competition in March, completing their 20th season from August 2015 – March 2016.
Romeo and Juliet is Ballet Manila’s second play in their 20th season, next to Severino Reyes’ Tatlong Kwento ni Lola Basyang, and is set to be performed on Oct. 2 & 3 at 8pm and Oct. 4 at 3pm in Pasay City.
