If you’re from the South, you may have already had one of those times when you get tired of the hustle and bustle of the city with all its polluted air and crowded places. Or maybe you’re simply sick of all the places you pass by that seem to remind you every time of work or school -- you crave for a break.
It’s either you visit your relatives at their provinces, or you and your barkada just want to go somewhere else instead of the usual vacation places you go to catch a break. Either way, when you end up travelling to the Northern Philippines, this strange land that has no honking cars or rushing crowds, the place to visit for the ultimate vacation beaches is Sta. Ana, Cagayan, where instead of the bar hopping that you do for fun at the south, you get to go beach hopping instead.
Here are some of the beaches you can go to without worrying about anything else but relaxation and satisfaction:

Nangaramoan Beach, Sta. Ana Cagayan
Nature dominates Nangaramoan Beach; there isn’t a time of the day where you won’t be in awe of the beauty of nature at dawn, morning, twilight or night. The view just takes your breath away.
The only man-made portion of this beach would be the nipa huts that you can rent as your cottages and rooms to stay overnight. Do not, however, expect air-conditioned rooms and spring beds, you’ll be getting no such luxury. You’ll have an electric fan and a banig instead. Although it’s doubtful that you’ll want to sleep in the rooms if you have the option of sleeping under the stars with an ocean breeze while the gentle waves lull you to sleep .

Cagayan Holiday and Leisure Resort
Unlike the untamed paradise of Nangaramoan, this resort doesn’t offer a white-sand beach and the ultimate nature experience. However, this resort simply exudes luxury that you wouldn’t expect from a rural area.
Golf carts will take you and your belongings to your designated villas (yes, not rooms, but villas.) that are lined up along the streets inside the resort looking luxury-oriented and rich neighborhood you see at subdivisions and compounds around the Metro, which are fully air-conditioned, with gorgeous pools within walking distances. The beach may not be as great as those in Palawan, Boracay or Puerto Princesa, but you can still have even more fun since you can rent kayaks and jet-skis that can zoom you luxuriously across the water. Since this is a luxurious place, bring a lot of money!

Anguib Beach
Anguib beach is a quiet haven that offers the complete beauty of nature with just the right amount of influence from man, which can be seen in all corners of the place like the well-designed cottages with showers and toilets installed to accommodate you and your bathroom necessities.
Fine white grains of sand are blanketed by strikingly blue-green water that seems to twinkle when the warm sun shines across its surface. The water’s so clear, you can sometimes see little fishes of different colors swimming beside you. You don’t even need goggles to see the beautiful coral rock formations below you, if you don’t mind the slight sting of the saltwater, that is.
If you want to further enjoy the cool waters of Anguib beach the you can rent one of those floating nipa-huts for 500 pesos wherein the person in charge of the hut would connect the hut to his barangay to take you as far out in the ocean as you’d like so you could dive to your heart’s content.
All of these places are unique and each have aspects that make each of them distinct but they do have one thing in common though, you will definitely feel relaxed and have the time of your life, they will surely make you dread the time when have to go back to wherever it is that you wanted to escape from. But don’t worry, no one can take the memories and experience (not to mention the tans) you gained from your new vacation spots. The Millennial Post
