The University of Santo Tomas (UST) and Bohol Island State University (BISU) - Tagbiliran topped the September 2015 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the board exam results on Thursday, three working days after the last day of examinations.
UST aced the September 2015 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) Licensure Examination with a 98.61-percent passing rate with 71 out of 72 examinees passed, while BISU topped the Registered Master Electricians (RME) Licensure Examination with a 92.16-percent passing rate.
In the REE board exam, De la Salle University (DLSU) – Lipa (92.86 percent), Technological University of the Philippines– Manila (85.29 percent), University of Southeastern Philippines– Davao City (84.04 percent), and Southern Luzon State University– Lucban (80.90 percent) took the second to fifth ranks.
Meanwhile, Technological University of the Philippines– Manila (88.24 percent) and Southern Luzon State University– Lucban (80 percent) ranked second and third in the RME board exam.
University of the Philippines- Diliman student Martha Isabel Salomon Dealino tops REE licensure exam with 90.95% while Jomel Cambangay Asilo from Bohol Island State University- Calape tops the RME licensure exam with 93.00%.
The REE board exam had 2,536 out of 3,772 board passers, while the RME board exam had 1,886 out of 2,993 board passers.
The PRC is yet to announce the date and venue for the oath-taking ceremony for the new successful passers. The Millennial Post
