Jimenez was trying to put in order the cameramen and reporters inside the separate area where the media conducts its coverage of the COC filing.
Jimenez then reprimanded the media inside the building and was seen telling them to settle down and clear the hall.
“Magbigay po tayo ng puwang sa gitna para makadaan ‘yung mga kandidato! Ano ba! Parang ngayon lang kayo nakakita ng ganito ah!” Jimenez said over the microphone as he was heard from outside the building from the blaring speakers.
The media inside the building mobbed the United Nationalist’s Alliance (UNA) tandem trying to get an interview, shoot photos and take videos, however, were left empty handed as the UNA tandem only signed the “Integrity Pledge” located at the platform in the end of the hall where media was situated to cover the events.
Binay and Honasan scantly gave interviews with journalist who anticipated their filing of COC.
Jimenez on an interview shown at the two widescreen set-up said a fine-tuning of the rules will be done to prevent the similar incident in happening again.
